I am a research scientist at the SETI Institute and a visiting scientist at Carnegie Science. My research interests center around the physics and chemistry of the terrestrial planets as it relates to their origin, evolution, and fate. The goal of my work is to describe the predictions of evolutionary scenarios in a way that allows them to be developed and tested in comparison with observations. I live in Alexandria, Virginia with my family, including mini-Schnauzer, Zoë.
